Photography

The Spring of my junior year, I took a photography class at UTD with Professor Tara Lyon ("Photography: Design" - ARTS 2350.001). This course was the catalyst for me developing the lifelong hobby of photography! This studio art course taught me digital photography fundamentals, from camera operation and lighting to digital workflow, while exploring design elements, contemporary art connections, and the crucial roles of light and color in image capture. We had 5 main projects: Landscape, Abstract, Large Format Print, Documentary, and our Final project. Each one taught us new techniques and styles, training us how to frame, edit, incorporate history, meaning, and our personal touches into every composition. Below are some select works from these projects.
